Orion Smart Nicheless In-Ground Pool Light
A 45-watt smart replacement light and the brightest full-color and pure-white nicheless fixture in the NeuTerra line. This is the usual choice when upgrading an existing in-ground pool light.
Cole Schwigen Pools designs and installs the smart LED lighting we use on our own projects. Pool, spa, rock features, landscape, and roofline all run from one app, in more than sixteen million colors, and we plan the wiring while the pool is still open.

Why we install it
A pool that looks extraordinary at two in the afternoon can disappear completely at nine at night. Lighting is what keeps the investment working during the hours most families actually use the yard.
We install the NeuTerra smart LED line because it solves the practical problems that matter on a real project. The fixtures are built to sit in water, most install without an electrician, and every light in the system talks to every other light, so the pool, the rock feature, the landscape, and the house behave as one scene rather than five separate switches.
The line is carried locally by Central Pool Supply in Moline and Bettendorf, where you can see the fixtures lit in person. Cole Schwigen Pools handles the design and installation side on your pool or feature project.
Lighting planned during construction, not added as an afterthought

In-ground pool lighting carries the most visual weight of anything we install after sunset. Water transmits and scatters light, so a single well-placed fixture can illuminate an entire pool body and make the surface read as a glowing plane rather than a dark rectangle.
On new construction we plan light locations while the walls are still open. That means conduit runs, niche placement, and return-line positioning are decided alongside plumbing rather than worked around later. On an existing pool we can often upgrade the fixture without touching the shell, since the nicheless replacement lights are built for exactly that situation.
Placement matters more than fixture count. Lights aimed away from the primary seating area keep glare out of your eyes while still filling the water, and a light set near a rock feature or bench will define that form in a way a center-of-wall fixture never does.
How CSP handles it
We plan pool light locations during construction so conduit and niches are set before concrete and plumbing are finalized.

First of its kind
A smart 360-degree return light for in-ground pools and spas that have no existing light niche, installed into a return fitting instead of the wall.
Pool, spa, landscape, rail, and roofline lighting all run from a single free app, with Alexa and Google support.
Full color range, preprogrammed light shows, and custom scenes you build and save yourself.
Every fixture in the line can follow the beat from a nearby Bluetooth speaker.
Resin-waterproofed housings provide full water intrusion protection on pool and spa fixtures.
Every light syncs with every other light, so the pool, yard, and house perform as a single coordinated scene.
On CSP projects we set conduit, niche, and return placement while the pool is still open, rather than adapting later.
Music-synced color across the water, the rock feature, and the surrounding landscape turns an ordinary evening into an event.
Seasonal color on the roofline and in the water, changed from the app in seconds instead of hung on a ladder.
Team colors across the pool, the rails, and the house for every game night.
Warm white for quiet nights, scheduled lighting while you travel, and safer steps, ladders, and pool edges after dark.
